Run, Jog, or Walk Your Way to Thanksgiving
The 5K run/walk kicks off bright and early at 8 a.m., following the Kids Dash at 7:15 a.m. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or prefer a leisurely walk, this event is perfect for everyone looking to add a dash of active fun to their Thanksgiving morning.
Race Perks and After-Race Party
All participants are rewarded for their efforts! You’ll receive a finisher medal and race shirt, and be treated to food and drinks at the after-race party. Celebrate your achievement and share in the Thanksgiving spirit with the rest of the community.
A Community Partnership for a Cause
This event is a proud partnership between Fit2Run and the Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy. Not only does the Turkey Trot encourage fitness and community spirit, but it also benefits worthy causes. Proceeds from the event support the Big Bill Foundation, named for former NBP Conservancy board chairman and legendary area businessman Bill Robinson, as well as the Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy.
