POSITION TITLE: Programming Instructor and Dock Master
REPORTS TO: Program Manager
SUPERVISES: Non-supervisory
COMPENSATION: $15.00 / Hour
CATEGORY: Part-time– Non-exempt

DESCRIPTION
Nathan Benderson Park is looking for energetic, instructors with flexible work hours who are interested in getting involved with programming at the park. The primary area of responsibility is to instruct and oversee various programs at the park (we will provide training). Instructors will also be responsible for assisting in weekend rentals of our equipment.

RERSPONSIBILITIES
·       Ensure the safety of all programming participants
·       Become proficient in Stand-Up Paddle Board, kayaking, canoeing, rowing, fishing, archery, and boaters safety, and any other programs we start offering – training provided through NBP
·       Clean up and maintain equipment and facility
·       Supervision of up to 10 participants at a time

QUALIFICATIONS
·       Possess or obtain Florida Boater’s License
·       Possess or obtain CPR/First Aid certification
·       Possess or obtain Lifeguard certification

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
·       Strong customer service skills
·       Previous experience working with kids
·       Previous experience working with adults
·       Positive attitude and professional demeanor
·       Punctual and Reliable
·       Aquatic/boating knowledge
·       Valid driver’s license
