FSRA Sweep Championships

 

The Florida Scholastic Rowing Association (FSRA) Sweep Championships are Florida’s youth state championships for the pairs, fours and eights rowing events. Over 1800 athletes are expected to attend. It is open to youth and high school teams comprised of student athletes attending Florida secondary schools. For youth teams all athletes must be under the age of 19 and attending a Florida secondary school. For high school teams all athletes must attend the same high school. For youth teams, this FSRA event provides a championship regatta format to prepare teams for the Southeast regional qualification regatta. The 2015 USRowing Southeast Youth Championship Regatta will be held on Lake Lanier in Gainesville, GA, on May 9th and 10th. For high school teams, this FSRA event is a qualifier for the national Scholastic Rowing Association of America (SRAA) regatta. The 2015 SRAA Regatta will be held on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, NJ, on May 22nd and 23rd.
