For a small fee, children and their parents and siblings can get out on the water with their choice of our equipment, and switch out at their whim. Gulf Coast Games For Life: Feb. 6, 9 a.m. at NBP (but at other sites Jan. 15-Feb. 6). This event is a qualifier for the Florida Senior Games, and encourages and promote healthy lifestyles, gives seniors the opportunity to compete at the local, state and national level, and provides an affordable and quality multi-sport festival that seniors can call their own. Events at NBP on Feb. 6 include coastal rowing, Olympic-style rowing, sit-on-top recreational kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.

Headliners Selwyn Birchwood and Albert Castiglia are joined by Ariella, Big Night Out, Bird Tribe, Fogt's All Stars, Jeremy Carter Quartet, Frankie Pineiro and Cole Hazlitt Quintet.

Feb. 11-March 6. The Ulla Searing Big Top moves from the NBP north lakes area to Regatta Island. Shows are 7 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays, 2 p.m. matinees Wednesdays and Saturdays, and 1 and 5 p.m. Sundays and on Presidents Day. Tickets and details are at the Circus Sarasota website.
