    For a small fee, children and their parents and siblings can get out on the water with their choice of our equipment, and switch out at their whim.     At Relay For Life no donation is too small, each and every dollar counts. Your donations help fund groundbreaking cancer research, patient care programs, and can make a difference in communities like ours. With every donation, you are helping the American Cancer Society save lives. Schedule of Events 3 p.m.: Teams can arrive to set up 4:30 p.m.: Opening Ceremony - Survivor Lap To Follow 5 p.m.: Team Lap/Road To Recovery Race * Create a boxcar for someone on your team to walk/run/drive 5:30 p.m.: Disco Fever Lap 6 p.m.:  Musical Chairs Scavenger Hunt * Bring your own chair 6:30 p.m.: Flower Power Lap 7 p.m.:  Survivor Reception – Join us for dessert after you are done supporting our teams by purchasing dinner from one of them. 7:30 p.m.: Poker Lap 8 p.m.: Luminaria Ceremony 8:30 p.m.: Closing/Fight Back/Glow Lap

  • USRowing Southeast Regional Championships

    The 2022 USRowing Southeast Youth Championships will take place May 14-15 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Fla. This year's regatta once again will serve as a qualification regatta for the USRowing Youth National Championships. Check the USRowing website for more details. No VIP parking. Handicap parking will be available. STREET CLOSURE AND TRAFFIC CHANGES • World Championship Drive will be closed all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday (April 8-10) from the playground south to the 500-meter restroom. • Athletes Drive will be closed to car traffic from Honore Avenue to World Championship Drive. • Regatta event parking will be in the south of the park (turn into the park from North Cattlemen Road at the south boat ramp) for a nominal fee. (Spectators will use the west shore.) • Athlete drop-off will be in the Mote parking lot near the SCAT station — follow the signs through the lot from the traffic circle outside Ford’s Garage and the SCAT station.
