Superhero 5k Run
The Super Hero 5K and Kids’ Fun Run is an awareness event promoting tri-county (Sarasota, Manatee, and Desoto) heroes; kids in foster care, and those who care for them. This is our fourth annual SuperHero 5K and we anticipate 300-500 local runners. In addition to the 5K and Fun Run, the event includes music, guest speakers, a Super Hero costume contest, vendors and community partner representatives, food, and more. Our aim is to raise awareness of kids in our local foster care system, while simultaneously providing them with a positive event within the community context.
