Dragon Boat 101
Learn the fundamentals of paddling in our Dragon Boat 101 course. Participants will get the basics of the stroke as well as on-the-water experience in the boat! The Dragon Boat 101 fee of $80 gets you 4 practices with the team at a beginning level, to allow you to learn the basics. Classes are offered every month. NBP offers several options for adults (18 and older). Whether for fun, for exercise or for competitiveness, we have what you want. Dragon Boat 101 graduates and experienced paddlers are all invited to join.

DRAGON BOAT CLINICS
Feb. 17-18 and Feb. 19-20
Ellen Law will hold 2-day paddling clinics at Nathan Benderson Park. The clinic will provide instruction on a stroke that is for paddlers who are physically compromised. It has a lower impact on the shoulder and rotator cuff. The stroke was used by the Team USA Premier and Senior B programs this past year. This is an open clinic, any and all paddlers are invited to join!

Camp 1: Feb. 17-18, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Fee: $40
Camp 2: Feb. 19-20, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Fee: $40
Monday (Beginner): Feb. 17
Tuesday (Intermediate): Feb. 18
Wednesday (Advanced): Feb. 19
Steering Clinics: $35.00/Session
Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Benderson Family Finish Tower. Minimum of eight people required to hold clinic. Fee: $30.
