DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Youth National Championships marks the 31st anniversary of the event. It has become one of the most significant youth sporting events in the United States and was awarded the SportsTravel Best Amateur Sports Event in 2023 & 2024. The long-term goal of the U.S. National Team Pathways is to develop talent in smaller boats. The U19 Trials at the same location as the Youth National Championships creates an opportunity for cross-pollination of athletes from across the country at Youth Nationals and regionally to compete for a spot on the U19 National team.  The 2026 U19 Trials will begin with practice at Nathan Benderson Park. \nThe 2026 Beach Sprint Trials will take place at South Lido Key Beach Park in Sarasota from June 16-17.  USRowing is excited to host two weeks of exciting\, competitive\, racing events at Nathan Benderson Park and Lido Key Beach in June. We hope to see you on the race course or on the beach. \n\nAbout Youth National Championships\, U19 Trials & Beach Sprint Trials\nUSRowing is pleased to announce a series of National Championships\, U19 Trials\, and Beach Sprint Trials in Sarasota\, Florida from June 12-18\, 2025. Kicking off the slate of events at Nathan Benderson Park will be the 2025 Youth National Championships beginning on June 12 and running through the 15. This event offers opportunities for crews that have qualified from around the country to come together to crown national champions. The USRowing-produced regatta features more than 3\,500 rowers racing for medals in as many as 43 events. In addition to the Youth National Championships\, the U19 National Team Trials for the single sculls\, pair\, and double sculls will occur from June 16-17. As a part of USRowing’s ongoing effort to introduce more athletes to the Beach Sprints discipline ahead of the 2028 LA Olympic Games\, the USRowing Youth Beach Sprints National Championships will take place in 2026 at South Lido Key Beach. \n\n\n\n
