The NBP Dragon Boat Racing League is an eight-week paddling league designed for beginners\, returning paddlers\, friends\, and corporate teams who want to experience the thrill of dragon boat racing—no experience required. \nHeld at world-class Nathan Benderson Park\, this league combines structured weekly practices with professional coaching and culminates in a fun\, high-energy Dragon Boat Festival Race Day\, where teams compete for the Dragon Boat Community Cup. \nWhat Is Dragon Boat Racing?\nDragon boat racing is a fast-growing paddling sport that blends teamwork\, fitness\, and adrenaline. Crews paddle in sync to move a long racing boat across the water\, powered by rhythm\, timing\, and teamwork. It’s easy to learn\, incredibly fun\, and accessible to all fitness levels. \nThe NBP Dragon Boat Racing League is the perfect introduction to the sport\, offering a welcoming\, low-pressure environment where participants learn the basics while enjoying the excitement of competition. \nDragon Boat League Program Overview\nThis 8-week dragon boat racing league includes one coached practice per week\, led by experienced and certified dragon boat coaches.
