Congratulations to Dr. Joanne Fava on being named the recipient of the 2024 SCOTY award from the ACBSP – the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians! Joanne was chosen as the recipient after being nominated by her longtime friend and colleague, Dr. Todd Narson.
Dr. Fava has been a long-time advocate and supporter of Nathan Benderson Park since 2010. She has assisted with medical needs and creating medical plans for sports events all over the world, including several Olympic qualifiers, for a wide variety of sports.
In addition to her medical commitments to NBP, Dr. Fava is a member of the Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy Board and was the recipient of the 2023 Volunteer of the Year award for Leadership. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Fava on this prestigious and well-deserved honor!
