Description
Dock masters are responsible for handling the daily outdoor customer service operations of Nathan Benderson Park Rental Outpost. Responsibilities include customer service, water safety on the docks, opening and closing duties, and customer check-in and check-out procedures.
Responsibilities
· Assist renters in boat launch with proper equipment, PFD, and instructional pointers for basic boating safety
· Keep equipment and facility clean and organized
· Handling necessary forms and rental transactions for customers
· Opening and closing NBP Rental Outpost, storing and securing all equipment, locking doors, and setting alarm
· Other duties may be assigned

· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Minimum Requirements
· CPR, First Aid certified, lifeguard training or equivalent Red Cross water safety class
· Ability to work evenings and weekends
· Lifting and carrying heavy objects (weighing as much as 50 pounds); bending and stooping continually and for extended periods of time
· Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
· Aquatic/boating knowledge
· Possess a high comfort level with working in aquatics-based environment
