Corporate Team Building
Teamwork is a cooperative effort by members of a team to achieve a common goal. Team building occurs when a group of people with complementary personal strengths commit to achieve certain focused performance results. Dragon Boat Paddling and Rowing team building are designed to teach the basic skills required to work together as a team on the water. This experience is a fun and exciting way to work on your health and fitness while learning something new!
Let NBP lead your corporate team building event and tailor activities specific to you needs.
• Building morale
• Improving focus for intact teams
• Team building when under pressure is taught in both seminars.
• Building cross-functional teams from various disciplines and across all departments
With NBP corporate team building, training our focus is to get team members out of their comfort zone and help them to experience new awareness of their needs and how to meet them through team effort and “out of the box” training
Rowing: Your group will get to experience the ultimate team building activity, working together to move an Olympic-style rowing shell through the water. A competition component is integrated.
Dragon Boat Paddling: Participants will learn the basics of the paddling stroke before getting into the boat. Dragon Boats are essentially 22-person canoes. We have a lot of flexibility with this activity, and it is the most popular choice. A competition component is integrated.
Kayaks/Stand-Up Paddleboards/Pedal Pontoon Boat: Our third “team build” option also falls into our rental department. If you’re looking for more of a relaxed/less structured event for your group you can rent our fleet of kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and pontoon pedal boat.
Rowing and dragon boating, per person: $30
Kayaks/stand-up paddleboards/pontoon pedal boat: $150 per hour (minimum two hours)
Administration fee (one-time): $70
